Mark Fireeye uses naturally abundant materials to create his hand-turned woodwork. Inspired by the natural warp and varied grain of timber as a living material, his work celebrates and embraces the wood’s inherent character.

FURNITURE
Long, narrow 19th century oak table with turned legs and a lower stretcher.
The oak has a deep natural grain, with gentle wear to the stretcher from years of use. The tabletop shows the marks of age, with historic cracks that have been carefully restored and left visible as part of the piece.
